Hey everyone! My friends call me LL, short for Lloyd.
I've been selling on different e-commerce platforms since 2000. Wow, it's hard to believe it's been that long. I found and started selling Etsy 7 years ago. I did it as a hobby at first and had a few different Etsy shops. I loved the Etsy platform and the buyers & sellers it attracted. They all were fantastic.
I decided after a few years that I really wanted to do this full time and walk away from my corporate job. Now the question was how do I grow my shop big enough to support my lifestyle and family? After struggling the first couple of years, I started to invest a lot of time figuring out what the top sellers were doing to be successful. I did a lot of testing to determine what worked and didn't work. I was consistent in working on my shop and I never gave up. All that time, energy, and knowledge that I acquired finally started to pay off.
Two years ago I reached 2 huge goals that I set for myself. #1 Become at top 1% Etsy seller & #2 Make enough money to leave my corporate job. I share this not to brag, but to show you what is possible if you're committed and all in on reaching your goals. Along my journey I've felt alone and found a lot of information that didn't work and or was from people that didn't have experience selling on Etsy. This is why I started Etsy Entrepreneur and set a new goal:
I want to help as many other serious sellers as possible by giving them the knowledge, support, and strategy to grow their Etsy shops. I want to be someone YOU can count on and that's a REAL seller.
